Set up your night
Under a minute: the sport, your courts, the game and how you play. You check players in as they arrive after that.
How a night works
Check-in first: enter each name as the person arrives, with a 1 to 5 level if you want balanced games. Someone is late? Add their name: they play from the next round. Someone leaves? Tap "Leaving": their games stay, and the next rounds go on without them.
Rotating partners: every round changes partners and opponents, and everyone sits out in turn when there are more players than spots. With 10 players on 2 courts, 2 people sit out each round. Up and down: winners move up a court, losers move down, and partners change.
Scores: show the QR code, or give the code to enter at notreligue.ca/code. Each player taps their court and enters the final score, with no account. Your phone can correct any score. The standings go by win percentage (with the same number of games, that is the wins), then the point differential.
A TV in the gym? Open TV mode: who plays where, the next round, the timer and the standings, in big type. Not everyone has a signal? Print the court slips for the round, and the standings at any time. Playing every week? Keep the night in a league: your players and your standings will already be in it.
Frequently asked questions
How many players can I add?
Up to 200 players and 20 courts a night, for free: no paid cap. Each round takes 4 players a court in doubles (2 in singles); the others sit out in turn.
Do players need an account?
No. They scan the QR code or enter the code at notreligue.ca/code, tap their court and enter the score. Only your phone runs the night, and a player's phone never changes a score another phone entered.
What about late arrivals and early leavers?
Add a name any time: the next round counts them. Someone who arrives late sits out in turn like everyone else, without jumping the line. Tap "Leaving" for someone who goes: their games stay in the standings.
How long does the night stay online?
The results stay at the same link for 14 days after the last action, then they are erased. To keep them and start next week from these standings, tap "Keep this night in a league".
