How the queue works
After each game, everyone comes off the court and goes back in line. As soon as the score is in, the court is free and the 4 players who have waited longest are called to it, doubles first. With "Balance the levels", the 4 make two sides of similar strength, and the same partners come back as rarely as possible.
Check-in: enter each name on arrival, with a 1 to 5 level if you want balance. Someone who arrives joins the end of the line; someone who leaves is no longer called. With "Singles when 2 or 3 are waiting", a free court takes a singles game when fewer than 4 players are waiting.
Scores: each player scans the QR code and enters the final score of their game, to 21 (up to 30), 15 or 11. A game stopped with no score? "Free the court" sends its players to the back of the line, and the game does not count.
On the TV: the games in play on each court, who is called next, the line and the standings. Prefer rounds? Pick "Rotating partners" or "Up and down". Your club plays every week? Keep the night in a league.
Frequently asked questions
How does the queue work?
By waiting time: someone joins the line when they arrive or when their game ends, and the first 4 in line take the next free court. Nobody stays on the court after a game, even after a win.
Does it replace the peg board?
Yes: the line keeps itself, in waiting order, and the TV shows who plays on which court and who is called next. No more pegs to move or whiteboard to erase.
Do players need an account?
No. They scan the QR code or enter the code at notreligue.ca/code, tap their court and enter the score. Only your phone runs the night.
How long does the night stay online?
The results stay at the same link for 14 days after the last action, then they are erased. To keep them, tap "Keep this night in a league".
