The invitation says when and where, with a map link when the venue's address is known, which position is missing and the game's price if your league charges subs. The sub knows everything before answering.

When a confirmed player drops out in the 24 hours before the game, you get an email that says what happens to the spot: the waitlist takes it, or subs are invited. In the last 12 hours, it goes out even at night.
Last-minute drop-out
Samuel · Castors6 hours before the game
Subs are invited.
Coed leagues: the right group first Option
With "Coed league", if a team is missing a woman or a man to meet its minimum, subs from that group are invited first.
5 at a time, a wave every 60 minutes. In the 48 hours before the game, all your subs are invited at once.
When do the calls start?
72 hours before the game, by default. In your settings, you pick between 24 hours and 8 days before. No call goes out in the last 2 hours before the game.
In what order are subs invited?
The most reliable first: those who answered their last call and played this season, then those who have answered before, then the others. Never by skill.
What if there's no one left to call?
The waves go on to the last sub on your list. When all of them have been called and answered without filling the spot, you get an email saying the team is still short, once per game.
Do subs need to create an account?
No. They get an email with two buttons and answer on the page that opens. Opening the link saves nothing: the answer only counts when they press the button.
